Advent

It will not always be like it is now.

Now consider the vastness of God’s advent.

Active waiting is waiting that pays attention.

The world around us now echoes our own distorted voice.

An infant, born in time and space, small and weak.

He arrived under the cover of darkness, hidden away.

It is hard to know where to go, it is hard to know what to do.

The Government shall be upon HIS shoulders.

We see how God cares and protects his people

Have you ever been so happy that you can't wait to share it with someone?

You’ve heard this story so much… but think again.

It is helpful to admit that there really is a battle raging.

To live in the world is to live in the wilderness.

Realising that reality is a dim shadow of what it could be.

The Lord has come!

It just wouldn’t be Christmas without the lights.
