Restored
God’s plan was to dwell with his people. Easter marks that point in history where the division between God and man was torn in two, death was defeated and a new Kingdom, and a new hope, was established.
The resurrection is the only evidence that love triumphs over death; that weakness prevails over strength and beauty over ashes. If Jesus has risen in actual history with all the palatability of flesh, fingers, bones and blood, there is hope that our mourning will be completed and death will not have the last word.
