Walking the Narrow Way

Following Jesus means moving past a sinner’s prayer into the daily practice of His way.

While everyone else treats the start of a new calendar year as the ultimate reset, you might find that the shift from summer into autumn carries a much deeper pull for a fresh start. Something about stepping into September prompts a longing to refocus our attention and re-energise our affection for what matters most.

As we look at the season ahead, we are met with a quiet, persistent challenge from the words of Jesus: What path are you actually going to travel? We often misunderstand the narrow gate, reducing it to a simple entry point rather than recognising it as the daily practice of the Jesus way. This narrow path asks us to love our neighbours as ourselves, stepping away from the wide road of self-interest and into a self-sacrificial way of living. It is a demanding road, and few choose to walk it. Yet, it is the only path that leads to a true quality and fullness of life here and now.

Take a moment to listen in as we explore what it truly means to count the cost, embrace Christ’s compelling love, and choose the narrow path of the kingdom.
