Hour of Prayer

Part 6: Yield

5 minutes

Asking or interceding can sometimes leave us feeling heavy so it’s really important to YIELD our prayers to God to let go and trust that God has heard and is working. And opening our heart to the possibility His answer may not match our desire and that’s ok too. Remember to be thankful in this time.

This is also a good time to write down the things you felt God was speaking to you about. Maybe he’s put someone on your heart. Why not send them a message to let them know you’ve been praying for them? It’s so encouraging to find out someone’s been praying for you. Or maybe God has given you a verse or word that has encouraged you. Why not share it with the GCC Family WhatsApp?

If you have a need you would like others to join you in praying for you can send a message (below) and either give your name or keep it anonymous.

As you finish your time please pray the words of the Aaronic Blessing to speak over our community:

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”
