The Beatitudes

As we gather again in our building in Richhill, we look at how we can be a blessing in our community. In this series, we will be looking at each of the Beatitudes – the famous passage from the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5.

Here, at the end of the Beatitudes, a question arises as to where in this world such a faith community actually finds a place? It’s at the cross. The faith community of the blessed is the community of the crucified. With them, they lost everything, and with him, they find everything.
